So, this week both Mayo Chiki and Kamisama Dolls were dropped. Too bad, but their place, I was able to play the Fate/zero double-episode premiere. Yaaaay. And yes, that fire drill was fake, so those of you who left... well. You missed out there if you didn't come back (we watched Dead Fantasy while you were away). We didn't watch Ikoku this week, unfortunately, because the fire drill took some time from us. Instead, we watched Nichijou clips at the very end. Also, since I don't anticipate for the next episode of Fate/zero to be another double-episode, please post in this topic for what you want to watch in the last free slot I have left. I'd prefer if you choose series that either aired last season or are currently airing this season. You may name multiple titles in your posts. Here's the meeting recap: Medabots:Yep, that's some deep space shit you're getting into. Fate/zero:Just a lot of talking and exposition and circular walking while talking. Oh, and bugs that rape you and eat your insides. Natsume Yuujinchou:Where Natsume meets a totally not-gay male friend. I swear he makes some female friends too in the coming episodes. Usagi Drop:You weekly dose of cute little girl. Mawaru Penguindrum:[/img] Our stalker-girl just gets creepier and creepier.

Wait, why can't we watch fate/zero? Or did I not understand the sentence?

I'm saying, since we dropped two shows, we have two free slots, and Fate/zero is only replacing one of the slots, we need another show.
The first episode of Fate/zero was as long as two episodes so it filled both slots fine, but from now on it should be one normal episode long.

But aren't we set if the next ep is also a double ep?
And I was thinking of maybe having one slot for viewer requested anime (kinda like our classics, but for more modern stuff).

It's a single length episode. How are we going to request shows though? We can do it through the forum, but we don't get enough people posting for that to be a viable method.

The second episode is one-episode long. And I guess I'll bring this up in club. Or I'll just show the Tomodachi ga Sukunai show. We don't have enough ecchi this season. Plus it's pretty funny.

I guess you can show it this time, but then ask about it afterwards.

Could somebody clarify about the poll for me? Are we supposed to vote for our favorite shows out of the group that was shown or are we supposed to vote for the shows we want to be shown at the next meeting? I thought we were supposed to do the former, so I didn't vote for certain shows in previous polls, but that's not to say that I didn't want to watch the series I didn't vote for.

I thought we were supposed to do the former, so I didn't vote for certain shows in previous polls, but that's not to say that I didn't want to watch the series I didn't vote for. we vote for our favorite shows we want to see at the next meeting, it gauges what people like and don't like so the lineup can be adjusted accordingly. as for shows we could do next, i was going to suggest the Persona 4 anime but we have fate/zero already so we have enough action stuff. i'll second showing boku ha tomodachi ga sukanai, the first episode was funny enough. Phi Brain could be interesting too, everybody loves puzzles.

I watched both Phi Brain and Seizon no Horizon (or whatever) and in general I'm just rather disappointed in Sunrise's production values for both shows. The plots are disjointed and a jumble of recycled "cool" phrases, so I'm not showing either of those. Plus, I hate censor bars (lol wait for the bluray/dvd!) and Horizon was like... just boobs the whole time. Meanwhile the new Gundam looks like shit. Sunrise is just not a good studio for me this season.
Otherwise, P4's animation looks lacking, and I'm always hesitant on showing anime based on any sort of game (unless they were light novels first), so I definitely won't show it.
If more things get knocked out of the line-up, I'll put up Guilty Crown or Mirai Nikki. I'm fairly excited about both, although neither are out yet.
