It's a poll, nothing we can do about it. Ultimately, we look at number of votes, not percentages.

>not showing game-based anime >lists light novels as exceptions
Get yo' terminology straight, Prez.

Yo. I meant light novels, like the actual books. Not visual novels. Learn to read.

So how are light novels exceptions to games, then? Unless you meant to say something like LN -> game -> anime (which is really redundant), I'm not seeing it.

He's trying to say that LNs are not a subset of games, therefore not an "exception". I assume she meant she's against adaptions and LNs would be the exception. Which is dumb.

I didn't mean light novels are a subset of games.
And I don't like anime adaptations of what originated as a game. I can't think of any exceptions to that at the top of my head.
You should know, though. You saw the Umineko no Naku Koro ni anime.

Oh no, I agree with you about game adaptations, they mostly all suck (though Steins;Gate was excellent, and is in my top 5). I'm just pointing out that LN/game misunderstanding.

But yeah. I'm glad we agree, and that is why I won't be showing P4. My expectations for it are way too low.

I sorta wish you'd show more Steins;Gate though.

we should watch soul eater... We have shown Soul Eater when it first came out. We got pretty far, so I don't think we'll show that this year. @fei, I think if people wanna watch it, we should. I'm mostly neutral about P4, but w/e anime is suggested we should consider.

Correct. I am the benevolent dictator. I LOVE YOU FEI. And yes. I totally agree with you with the sunrise + P4 thing. How about something comedy to break things up? Doesn't necessarily need to be from this season, right? (I keep on pushing Gyagu Manga Biyori and Tono to Issho, but no one listens to me.)

Ahaha.
I WANTED TO WATCH TONO TO ISSHO. But it's pretty hard to find.
I've decided on showing Ben-To and Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai. I'll bring up the P4 thing and see if anyone wants to watch it, but I'm really not for it.

Fate/Zero - First episode was a lot of talking. It helps if you've seen the original. A lot of "He's that person's father!?", "This is what happened back then?" Finding those connections between the characters that set the stage for the sequel. It's quite a good show on it's own, and is going to set up to be one of the coolest anime of the season. Since you've already started this, if you haven't watched Fate/Stay Night yet, don't until you've finished this. But yeah, it's going to get much better.
I've been watching some anime during our little break. (ZOMG! Jeff watching animu!? Sacre Bleu!)
Persona 4 - Animation looks a little cheap here and there, but still a must see for fans of the game. A decent anime on it's own. You don't need to have played the game to enjoy it, but it certainly makes it more enjoyable.(If this does get shown, I would like to show the persona4 comic dub for the lulz)
Kyoukai Senjou no Horizon - Downloaded it 'cause Greg recommended it. Not bad. I feel like a lot of awesomeness went into the first episode, and the show might not be able to keep that awesome level up throughout the season.
Maji de watashi ni koi shinasai!! - Harem anime with a lot of action. I wanna show it, if nothing else, just for the great fight sequences. Also played it's trump card early by making a really fun first episode. Following episode is also fun, but more harem than action.
Mirai Nikki - I'm going to be watching this tonight. I love the manga. Here's hoping the anime lives up to it's fame. If it's as good as I expect it to be, I'd like to show this too.

Wait, when did I tell you about Horizon? And from what novel readers tell me, something very interesting/dramatic/heartbreaking/whatever should happen around episodes 4-6 (I assume one of those episodes will be like episode 3 of Madoka or episode 12 of Steins;Gate). Of course, I have no clue if it's true or not, but as long as Sunrise doesn't screw up the execution, I'll be satisfied.
