and of course it's on the 3DS so if you want to enjoy this pure awesomeness (huge Layton fan), you must pay up for a 3DS...man, i'm not sure if i'll get one at launch, but it's very tempting

Well I'm just plain confused....
I have a lot of faith in Level-5 though (enough to make up for my LACK of faith in Capcom) so I'm sure it will be worthy of the professor Layton name.
Never played a Phoenix Wright game though.....
Also, does anyone else find the character designs of Layton and Wright to be.....VERY odd together?

honestly i have mixed feelings about the 3DS now that i've actually tested the system (played a demo of it at best buy). It's true that the whole 3D effect is lost if you dont' look at the screen at the right angle and that nausea is a possibility (i didn't have such moments), but the whole 3D thing for now seems like a complete novelty rather than adding to a playing experience.
I'm gonna have to wait and see how they use the 3D capabilities in the Layton puzzles (expecting a lot after the other Layton games which were awesome), and how Phoenix Wright is gonna handle the 3D cuz his stuff is mostly text based.
A standard DS version would be much appreciated
