Honestly, I think Apple, as a company, is pretty good. They advertise well, branch out into different industries, and know what people want. But then they put out retarded underpowered, overpriced, broken products and I want to strangle Jobs with his turtleneck. tl;dr: I'd buy stock in Apple, but not any of their stuff.

Miyazaki in his old age basically is your old grandpa who pines for the good old days. He appeals to many desirable facets of humanity that are being lost with the technological revolution, like knowing the satisfaction of a hard day's work and the camaraderie of good friends in person as opposed to online, but he's behind the times, plain and simple.
His attack on ipads and phone manga is pretty justified - the ipad is essentially a market-created need and reading manga on phones sort of takes away from the medium, like looking at fine art through compressed jpgs or something. But while what he says might agree with my sentiments, he's ultimately an old guy who misses the old days. He's probably more entitled to missing the good old days, as he did some incredible things before we were born (and after, especially 90's), but it's slowly moving past his era and he's feeling that nostalgia.
Like how many of us would still sit and play through starfox 64 again instead of picking up "super adventure hero press x or y when it flashes with beautiful graphics 3".

Whenever I play an adventure game that doesn't quite feel like an adventure game (for whatever reason), I go and play some Majora's Mask, so I'm right with you on that one, haha.

He's right on the money about how (What's the right word, irritating? Weird? Stupid?) disrespectful to the medium (Or in my opinion, art and literature in general) to be read on the ipad, or the nook, or any of those weird electronic reading devices on the market. I don't know about you guys, or anyone who seems to prefer this whole new electronic reading, but it's not just the same to me as having a physical book in your hand. "BUT ANGELI, WE'RE SAVING TREES DOWNLOAD ALL YOUR FAVORITESSSSS" >___>;; I don't know, it's still... not the same. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate web comics and I used to download manga, but if I had my choice I would buy a physical copy. It's not just for preference, or for what I'm "used" to doing -- unlike the whole "click next page let it load", here you have the pages as they unravel before you. Here you have the art presented how it is supposed to be - here you have the chance to process the work without the distraction of a backlight or fumbling with a touchscreen. Or well, that;s my opinion. Buuut a part of me does wonder how people feel when they have never read anything "solid" in their hands but instead grow up reading off these weird electronic devices oAo Also @zack: Dude, I really wish my family invested in Apple stock way way waaaaay before.

Whether or not Miyazaki likes the iPad doesn't sway my decision. I've never touched an iPad so I'll reserve judgment. I do think, however, that they are overrated, overrepresented, and overmarketed. Somehow apple products have all become conversation starters by virtue of existence. That's pretty much all that annoys me.

I've played through the first two dungeons about a dozen times at this point. For some reason, I always get distracted and forget about it right when I do the Moo Moo Ranch. I really wanna play that game in full again, though - the Zora part was so great, and that place in the mountains was really fuckin' creepy. N64 has so many games I keep coming back to. Smash 64, Banjo Kazooie/Tooie, Goldeneye (even if it is a bitch to play now, haha), Diddy Kong Racing... and of course, OoT/MM.
