My name's Jo and I'll be your co-treasurer for this coming year. I'll be a sophomore at Stern majoring in International Business and Marketing and minoring in Psychology. Lemme know if you need any help getting around campus or even some easy hints on quick A's
I'm Elisa and I'm the co-secretary next year. I'm majoring in politics at CAS right now but it may change...again xD
Some of my favorite animes are Evangelion, Trigun, Yu Yu Hakusho and any mecha genre =)
I'm also into American TV (I'm considering some type of minor in Tisch in television or film) and I love to chat about sci-fi shows! <3 Maybe sometimes I get too passionate? XD I'm very much looking forward to next semester! =D
My name is Erica, and I currently am not in school due to medical reasons, but I used to go to a community college.
I found this place on a site, and decided to join the chat last night, but after I checked out the forum and such, I realized just about everyone here goes to the same school. I hope I can be accepted.
Um, I like anime series that are from the following genres, but not limited to: Romance, Comedy, Magical Girl, Ecchi, Action, and Adventure.
As for the anime series, I like a lot, but can't think of the list right now...so I'll just write out a few I like...
Sailor Moon, Fushigi Yuugi, Psychic Force (way too short), Legend of Basara (again too short), Angel Sanctuary (shorter), Bakuretsu Hunters, SD Gundams, Record of Lodoss War, Cutey Honey Flash (the 1996 version can't find more episodes nor dvd), dbz (fun to watch for the "lulz"), Tenchi (haven't watched the whole series), Shoujo Kakumei Utena (love it). Sorry, I really can't think of all the anime I have watched at this time, but I'll get back to it whenever I do. I'm pretty open-minded about anime series and what I'm willing to watch, so hit me up if you have a suggestion or any questions. ^^
I like video games as well, and I'm stuck on "squaresoft" ones such as Parasite eve, SaGa Frontier, and FF 7 and 8. I'm not a big fan of fighting games, but I do enjoy Darkstalkers and Meltyblood games. I mostly like RPGs, little fighting, no shooters, and yeah.
I don't have much else to say, except I used to draw a lot of anime, but I haven't for quite some time, though I'd love to get back into drawing. I'd also love to join a meet-up whenever you guys have them, and If I'm feeling well enough to go.
If you like RPGs, you should try league of legends. Although I'm really just saying that because I'm obsessed with league, it'd also be a good way for you to get to know people in the club. Then again, you always see the worst side of people when you play league with them, so it could be a terrible idea!
Anyway, if nothing else you should definitely go to NYAF with these guys, especially if you've never been to a con. I didn't even know half the people I went to anime boston with and that trip was a total blast.
LoL is the overrated online game people were playing this year. Last year it was Osu!. I wonder what it'll be next year >_>
Hopefully it's some kind of online mahjong - I've been watching Akagi and I'm constantly thinking in the back of my mind, "Man, if I actually knew how to play mahjong, this would be so sick." As it is, it's a great anime, but I know I'm missing a lot. Unfortunately, every online mahjong I've tracked down is just some kind of matching tiles game. >_O
