Alright club members - I know that there is another thread about Karaoke but this is the final thread on Karaoke AKA what you see here will be the final decision. Let's get started. As many of you may know, we don't have a meeting next week (the week of the 19th). Why waste a week if we can go out together, get some K-town food, and sing to our hearts content (English songs as well as Japanese... heck, even Spanish will be good). Therefore, as you see, choose which day would suit you well. In addition, type a reply stating at what time you think you can make it. Of the bat, I can make it from 5pm onwards. The place that I'm leaning towards will be Karaoke Duet 35 located on 35th street ( www.karaokeduet.com/). For food, we can always find a place around K-Town. What is everyone's thoughts, comments, questions. I want to get everyone's thoughts by Sunday, November 15th so I can try to make some room reservations (in case it get packed). Look at the website for the price (per hour and for a marathon) and the choices of songs (in any language), in case you are interested. Adios!

Sunday, any time after 5, Tuesday after 5, and Thursday after 3 but I might have to leave early to attending a friend's birthday. SUNDAY AND TUESDAY ARE BEST! (totally)

I can make it any time before the 19th, but unfortunately im going to be busy after that.. (ill miss you guys!)
Starting at 1-ish or sooner seems optimal to me, any later means we won't be able to exploit- I MEAN -take advantage of the nice little marathon flat rate they'd give us. In any case, no one needs to come at the same time, while it would prolly be better if people arrived in at least groups of 2 (assuming there's a 20 dollar min to get in)
My instincts are also telling me that somehow everyone would want to karaoke on thanksgiving, so waiting till 1 day in advance to reserve a room could deem hazardous ... but then there's always rebound options so that's good(referring to if 16th were to be chosen [then again people would prolly want to do it on the weekend {then again thanksgiving starts on thrusday - i digress ;D}])...

This week is gonna be really hectic for me. I have a lot of stuff to do like projects, papers. I'll see if I can make it but I'm not sure right now.

By the looks of things, it seems that Saturday works well with most people. I'll make the reservation tomorrow (Monday).

Just to be safe, 3 - 4pm seems ideal. The place opens at 2pm and everyone sems reved up to do a marathon. Does this work out with everyone?

Also is this the place where we can bring outside food in? Or do we have to stick to what they have?

I'm almost definitely going, but I'm not going to sing unless you want to hear my horrible, monotonous voice. XD

@ Angeli -
We can bring food from outside. There is a Burger King nearby which I always brought food from. They don't mind.
@ralphy - Trust me when I say that the only one that would be the biggest fool singing would be me.... and trust me when I say I suck when singing. But I will still do it. lol.

My problems with the date and karoake period
A) I have to finish my paper early to make it. Really, finish work early? I know of no such thing.
B) Paying to make a fool of myself. Really, I have to pay money just to make a fool out of myself? Pass on that, I can make a fool out of myself anytime for free at other places.
And yes, I know, I'm asian, I'm supposed to be doing karoake all the time. I'm sorry, I fail in this regard. ,-_-,
