I think it's more along the lines of, "we're poor but our parents aren't". Not the case for me. My parents are poor too. Going to nyu on scholarships and loans. A lot of loans. @sapphi: good idea, we can split something.

Yes, there seems to be plans finally for this. I will confirm it with everyone by tomorrow, 6pm the latest. To give everyone an idea, the plan is that we all go this Friday to Ninja at around 7pm. I'll check the place out tomorrow to see if we gotta make a reservation. If so, then I'll put down about 8 people or so (in case others get interested). Again, more info will be available by tomorrow 6pm. Stay tuned!!

I'll say we'll be heading out at 7pm (which really means people interested in going should be there before 7pm). I declare we meet up by the marble staircase of Kimmel. We should be getting to the place near 7:30pm.

Lol, I'll chip in to whomever wants to split something and therefore save money, but seriously these places all look pretty awesome. I'm still loving Ninja, so amazing, just calling it that makes my day.

nikki: I'm just imagining that when you are talking to your parents or friends and they ask you "did you have something to eat," you'll probably respond "yea, I went to Ninja." If they don't know what Ninja is, their facial expression should be something like this: Otherwise, if they DO know what Ninja is, their facial expression would be this; Either way, they'll just pretend to know what "Ninja" is. @jeffrey: Oh I sent out the email. I told people to check the forums, specifically this thread. According to NYU rules, we aren't "technically" suppose to go out as a club. HOWEVER, if we say that we are going out for dinner as a group of friends, then they shouldn't bother us. Yes, NYU can be a bit investigative when it comes to dinner as a club vs dinner as a group of friends. @angeli: Do I smell a possible group trip like what we had for the NYAF? Angeli, I think you should be captain for this trip. Lead us to this "Promised Land" that is across the Hudson.

Can you put links on the email? cause I think it would've been eaiser to link to the thread then saying "bored? go on a date w/ the elite four" in the general anime section. W/e it's good enough.

Below is the location of Ninja; maps.google.com/maps?client=safari&rls=en-us&oe=UTF-8&um=1&ie=UTF-8&q=nyc+ninja&fb=1&gl=us&hq=ninja&hnear=nyc&cid=0,0,738416613089401141&ei=LQ7fSrvbFZKk8AaYwOBt&sa=X&oi=local_result&ct=image&resnum=1&ved=0CAsQnwIwAA Turns out that the closest one to campus is located near Chamber Street. The one near campus (on Hudson and I believe 10th St.... these streets cross one another so much, its hard to determine which one goes where) closed down a while back. In other words, if you guys still wanna go there, its ok. Otherwise, because of the distance, we can go somewhere else. Here are reviews for the place. www.yelp.com/biz/ninja-new-york-new-yorkBased on the reviews, it seems that the place is overpriced. Sure, you have ninjas jumping at you and such but the food seems a bit overpriced. Thoughts? Comments? Do we have any backup (asking other member of Elite four but its really open to anyone)?
