www.youtube.com/watch?v=8NUBVcit5VMI saw this trailer when I went to see "Get him to the Greek" this weekend. All my friends were like "wow that looks like garbage." I showed it to more friends, they were all like "shitsux". Please, please tell me that when you guys watch this trailer, it strikes you as No More Heroes with boyfriends instead of assassins (aka slightly less cool but still really fucking awesome). I need bros to see this movie with, and if I can count on you guys for one thing, it's a love of media that the rest of the world frowns upon. So who's with me?

dude I like the feel of this movie. It feels like grabbing a 1up in a game where you don't really need 1ups, but you grab them anyway and you're like "check it, another 1up I'm way too good I have like 55 now"

grabbing a 1up in a game where you don't really need 1ups, but you grab them anyway So it's like me playing super mario galaxy 2? /flex But yeah, I've always loved movies where they really don't care about following any sort of rules or logic. The trend for the past ten years or so with hero movies is that they all try to be realistic and humanistic as possible. I'm looking forward to watching a movie that just makes no fucking sense, and embraces it.

I'm actually really interested in seeing this.
There was a time when I once scoffed at seeing Scott Pilgrim in the manga section (When I was a pretentious little bratty animu only plox ew fanbrat), but recently after going through a graphic novel craze I picked it up. The art is refreshing, stylized and the story, while not what I'd call BEST SHITE EVERRRRR is amusing.
The trailer doesn't look half bad, and I'm glad that The Awkward Kid (I forgot his name) was actually chosen for the role. This might be an interesting move up for him, I definitely want to see this :3

Part of me feels like I'm being patronized as a gamer, but it does look like it's worth seeing. Definitely in.

Thank God! I knew I could count on you guys - dunno why all my other friends seem to have sticks up their asses, but it's all gewd.
And wow, I didn't realize this was a comic book. The comic book sound effects should've been a dead give-away, I thought they were just being cute with those.

Nah man, the comic series been out for a while. I definitely would recommend it, especially if you love "No More Heroes."
Let's make it happen! Is the movie suppose to come out later this year? Any more details on release dates?
