I got several songs in mind, but I'm listing them so if you need to cut off at a certain point, feel free. I included the anime too, just in case it'd help you find it or something. If you can't find it, don't worry. 1. Give A Reason (Slayers Next--opening) 2. Mata Ashita (Ouran High School Host Club--character song) 3. Holy Holiday (One Piece--Luffy's character song) 4. Dear You-Hope (Higurashi--Rika's character song) 5. Don't Look Back (Prince of Tennis--ending song) 6. Eternal Snow (Full Moon o Sagashite--ending song) 7. Cloud 9 (Wolf's Rain) 8. Ride on Shooting Star (FLCL--ending song) Thank you. The way you listed it was very convenient. Okay i got everything but 3 and 5. I can still get those by ripping them from a youtube video if you like. lol ripping off youtube? That's fine by me! haha ;D Thank you so much!

I think the best option (least amount of head-desking, teeth-gnashing) is to have a Karaoke night at Karaoke Duet. I think the one on 48th street is the most up to date but I'd have to check with a friend. Since there's couches and stuff I also think it would be a more comfortable and less shy-inducing environment. I would almost guarantee they have any Japanese song you can think of, including a comprehensive anime section and normal Jmusic section. The songs are also updated monthly. They also make sure to update their English (and Chinese, Korean etc) songs monthly just in case. You just request the languages you want. They have thousands of songs organized into 1 booklet each (and then they put the monthly additions into 1 binder each until the latest book volume comes out) so once you find the song you just have to punch it's number, press enter, and wait for it to play (it will go on a playlist that plays songs consecutively as they are entered). It also releases you from the strain of having to prepare everything before hand, and puts a list right there of thousands of songs to choose from and allows for more spontaneity. The only thing is it's probably better to practice the song before hand with romaji because when the words come up on the screen it's in Japanese LOL!! (Some songs have furigana though) But it does have nice funny background movies etc. Sometimes they actually play the songs music video. I myself find myself going "OK skip this song I didn't know it as well as I thought I did LOL". In the anime section of the Karaoke book, the animes are in alphabetical order but very easy to find. It would probably help if you knew what the anime title looked like in Japanese though, but it's still rather easy to figure it out. (Can just check ANN). If not anyone with rudimentary reading knowledge could help find the song/anime/artist. I think it costs around 13 bucks to marathon for several hours. The only thing is you have to make sure you reserve a room because not every room is hooked up to the Japanese machine. They also give free water yay! And you can request menus so you can order from nearby restaurants. Oh yeah I think each 'person who pays' has to spend at least 20 dollars or something, so it's probably best if we just gave our 13 bucks each all to the treasurer or whoever to buy it all in one shot if that makes sense. You also don't have to pay in advance, you can pay when you show up. (If we to go the Karaoke Duet way, that is)

Personally, I like the duet at 35th a lot more. They both have the same up-to-date-ness from my experience. I think the normal price is $5/$6 for an hour depending on which day of the week, but then it's only $13 if you marathon meaning stay as long as you want between opening time and 7pm I think.

Yeah, I agree with KK on this. I remember the number of times I went there for the past 5 years or so (starting junior/senior year of high school if I remember correctly). So far, it has been one of my favorite ones in both St. Marks and in K-Town. If anyone doesn't know any details about this place, check it out here: www.karaokeduet.com/eng/top.htmlThey open at either 1 or 2pm (depending on the day) and remain open until 4 or 6am (again, depends on the day). We definitely will have fun there so it was a good suggestion (remind me to bring you a cookie Sapphi). Other three Elite Four members and members, when can we make this happen???

Other three Elite Four members and members, when can we make this happen??? When's the next time we don't have a meeting in Kimmel? That'd be a good filler. Don't you just love fillers.

Next time will be on November 19th. WE didn't manage to get any rooms for november 19th, so let's start planning for a filler or an OVA (THAT is why the titles for those days without any Kimmel meetings are OVAS on the schedule page of the website).

Question about the karaoke place. Any romanji? I don't think we'll be able to do it if there isn't.

I'm pretty sure there's no romaji I've had friends who printed out the romaji and brought it with them.

Alright, who's gonna go to 3rd north or use stern privileges to print out the lyrics? After the karaoke, I'll gladly take the lyrics off your hands. But I can't figure out how to work the printers in 3rd north. They've become too confusing for me.

They should worry about their own lyrics, since it would probably be too spontaneous/hassle for them to email you every song they're thinking of perhaps doing.. ..another good idea is just to practice it at home a few times to make sure you know it. And if you still don't going "BLAH BLAH BLAH IDK YOZORA NO HOSHI TACHI NO HIKARI" is always fun. Also chances are someone else might know the song you're doing so they can help you along.

I highly agree with sapphi.
@jeffrey: The printing is a bit frustrating at first but then gets easier as you get adjusted to it. Just swipe the card, tap the screen for the document you want to print out, and tap the "print" button.
I vote for making this happen on the week of November 19th, unless someone wants to do it sooner. For that, it should be on a weekend or in the afternoon of any day.

I click print on my computer and send it to one of the printers. I go to the printer. swipe my card and nothing comes up. No items for print. Maybe they just don't like me. How much would the karaoke place cost again? For a whole group. Do we have to pay per person?
