Hmm you might have a point there. I wish I knew what Friday's schedule looked like, I can't seem to find it on the website. For some reason I was assuming Friday didn't start until the afternoon and that you guys would be leaving early. We can move things around if need be, it's not a problem (outside of more $$$). Better to have things booked than not booked is all.

Yes, you can bring people to your room. As long as you're not rowdy, you'll be fine. As stated in the Hotel Code of Conduct, there will be a three strikes rule. You'll receive two warnings, the hotel may ask you to leave.

Reading about the Sheraton on the AB forum, lots of useful info on there.

Also, I'm debating posting news that I find about the convention in regards to photoshoots and special guests that aren't headliners, though headliners would work too. I know some special Touhou guests are coming~

Rooms have been booked for Thursday as well. The 6-7 of you staying with me need to cover 850 between ya's (about 120 a person on average) to pay for the entire weekend. 40 bucks a night, not bad for you doods. Keep in mind these are the social block rooms. If Domino's at 2 AM, copious drinking, and not much sleeping are not your forte, I do not recommend you stay in these rooms. As of now it looks like Nick Dave Paul Luis and Greg are all in, leaving two spots. Jack, Paul's bro and Nick's bro are all maybes as of now. Two of those three will probably round us out. Once I get one more confirm we'll have a better idea of what we're looking at.

As for other people, have they talked about transportation/lodgings yet? I know there's a lot of you...

Hey Chad, I've got a friend who's already confirmed a while back (he's got his bus ticket and everything, I think it'd suck for him to miss out on this at this point). Also, Zack has been on board for a while, Allen and Zi put in definite interest a couple of weeks back, and I believe if Nick's brother goes, Nick and him plan to get their own room.

I'm not abreast of what's on facebook but whoever else that has expressed interest should book their rooms now, especially if you want the social block. You can check for double bed rooms (occupancy 4) if something cancels. Also we might be able to work out having all the rooms close to each other. I've been speaking with the Sheraton staff for a while.

I'm going to do some math and see if I can put enough in to help offset the cost of another room, but I don't have that much as it is. It's crunch time and any thoughts and/or contributions would be a major help. If enough people are only coming for 2 days, we can do a separate room for them, but I think everyone is doing all 3 days.

Well, Vivian and Chelsea and Raf and I are all set for the weekend, so we'll see you guys at Anime Boston. We're in the quiet block, though, so we'll actually be sleeping haha.

There's still time for people to get your own rooms, by the way. The Sheraton isn't full, and if you access the hotel information link from the Anime Boston website you can easily just reserve a room or two yourselves.

I stated (in terms of relevance):

But I don't want to get too crazy, if you're doing 570 too then..damn. I honestly don't think we have too much to worry about. I'm planning on 200 + 100 worth in sake, but might do 300 depending.

To put it in a little bit of retrospect, if I put in the 200 and Paul does 570, it's ~122.48 per person. If I do 300, it's ~112.48 per person. Internet is another story though, it'd tack on another 117 or so to the total cost and bring the average around 130-135/120-125 depending on whether Allen would still pay for the net alone.
