Hey doods, it's been a while! Now you know I'm heading up there for NYAF to keep up our epic tradition...hopefully with less pigeon-meat White Castle burgers this time. Or maybe there will be MORE THAN LAST TIME??? Good god, I can't even imagine.
Anyway, would anyone be interested in grabbing a hotel room for the weekend with me? Now now ladies, that's not what I meant. What I meant ... is anybody else coming into town for this that wants to work out a room to stay in? The more the merrier if we get a big band of weeaboos I guess, but really was aiming for a few adventurous joes who would be down to share some space and maybe/maybe not some alcohol after a long tired day of con-going. Do you really want to go all the way back home when it's midnight and your legs are in searing agony? Of course not! Be lazy like me and take a taxi to a hotel and order dominos at ungodly hours in the morning ala Anime Boston.
I'm looking to cover about 1/2-2/3 the room cost, so I only need small chip-ins ($20-50 a night probably) from whoever is interested. I'll definitely look for more "con-friendly" places, assuming such a blissful haven exists. I'll do my best to shop around once I know what size we're searching for.
Paul and Luis I'm looking at you dudes especially. I'll make some calls too because I'm not sure who still uses this forum and who doesn't. I guess this post won't be toolerific enough unless I post an obnoxiously large internetz pickchure.

Cheapest hotel is 83 bucks a night, but those ones are all in the Bronx and near JFK so it really wouldn't be close to the con. We'll probably end up spending like 200-300 a night on a hotel, which should be fine since we'll be splitting it a few ways.
I looked it up and apparently this one's really close to the convention center:
If I had my own place, I'd let you guys crash. Do you guys need to buy NYAF tickets?
I actually do, which kind of sucks cause I don't think I'll be able to get down there this Thursday. I'm guessing I can just buy the tickets online, though, right? I won't get the discount but it's whatever.
