Congrats on watching Berserk and FMP, I haven't even tried to get involved with Berserk mainly due it it's length.
I'm also going retro. The first few eps of some of this season's shows were good, but generally I'm not motivated to finish the series that start... I'm watching old stuff like GTO, Cross Game, Bebop, and Bartender again.
In other news, I didn't know there was a true route ending even happening for little sister. I better get on that.

Ooh, Bartender. I've wanted to watch that, I might have some time now.
And if you haven't seen the first true route episode yet, it might be worth it to wait for them all to be released. The schedule kind of reminds me of katanagatari's release schedule, which made my heart ache every time I watched an episode and realized I needed to wait a month for the next one.
Episode 13: Late March Episode 14: April 14 Episode 15: May 15

Never seen Bartender, I might once I wrap up FMP. And GTO is one of my favorites, perhaps even more so than Cowboy Bebop. I dunno why, Onizuka just reminds me way too much of my friends. =3
And I'm a wee bit lost, what's a true route ending? @.@ Anime terminology is not my strong suit, apparently.

It's kind of a play on the whole ero-game theme that ore no imouto had going. Basically in games like that, there's a bunch of possible endings based on which character you romance, but one ending is considered the "true ending", which is the official ending they'll work with if they ever make a sequel.
Same thing with this - the "good ending" is basically a safety precaution. If ore no imouto doesn't get another season, then we can take the good ending as the actual ending for the anime. So the actual final episode that you've seen (if you watched ore no imouto) would be the official ending, in that case.
If there ~is~ a second season, it'll pick up where the true route leaves off, which is going in a completely different direction. The true route also follows the story of the light novels, whereas the good ending is actually a totally different ending.
If you're still confused and you've watched ore no imouto, then you should check out the first true route episode and you'll see what I mean. The first half of the episode is almost identical, but there's a divergence midway and that changes how the episode ends.

Oh, okay! I have watched Ore no Imouto, I just didn't understand the meaning of "true ending." ^^' Thanks for the clarification.
On that note, I am hoping for a second season. It's not my typical cup of tea, but it surprisingly worked for me.

That release schedule sounds like absolute balls to me. I am disappoint. The one-a-month thing absolutely kills me. The once-a-whenever things (like gundam unicorn) are even worse for me.

Though having to wait longer for unicorn makes me appreciate it more I guess. And cat shit one is like once a year.

That really is the only upside to these long release schedules - you do tend to appreciate their releases more. But Cat Shit One, that show takes waaaaay too long, the first episode was blazing fireballs of joy and wonder, only to realize it will take another year to make the second. I got used to Katanagatari, because it was a whole year's worth of 1-per-months, but having experienced and followed a show like that for that long, I can honestly say that I probably won't try to keep up with that kind of schedule ever again. Just wait for the full seasons on bakabt, probably.

I'm watching School Days, finally! I'm pretty excited, I always wanted to see it because I've heard so much about it, but just never got around to it. Now the time feels right. First episode was solid too - by the end I'd totally bought into it. Even though I know what happens (which obviously is gonna take some of the impact out of it, but still : D). Edit: YES!! I finished this in record time. The spoiler tags are probably unnecessary, but just in case; The ending didn't shock me since I knew about it (it's why I was watching the show), but I didn't know the details so the tension in the last episode was pretty great. I actually had to pause it and take a breather when seiki goes in to get tea, since I was thinking she was gonna throw the boiling water on his face and that would've been gross.
Unlike a lot of people, I didn't hate Matoko. In fact, I found his character really refreshing. After being subjected to insipid, spineless male protagonists in harem animes for years, seeing a dude who wasn't mortally afraid of girls was a nice change of pace. Honestly, if there was anything wrong with him, it's that he wasn't enough of a dick in the beginning. When he started falling for Seiki, he should've just broke things off with kotohana. Instead he strung her along because he was afraid of upsetting her, which forced him and Seiki to hide their relationship. For this reason, when that middle-school friend (forgot her name) approached him during the school festival, he didn't have a problem with it. He'd already gotten used to hiding his relationship, so it was a natural segue.
And then of course, he becomes a total manwhore. : D I'm sorry, I really enjoyed that. After finishing the show and going to read some of the blogs/comments from people when it aired, I was really surprised about how many people hated him. This is how every harem anime would end up if the main character wasn't a wimp, and people always criticize the main character for being so weak in situations like that. This was the opposite, yet they hated him anyway. D :
By episode 12 he definitely went too far, though. Hooking up with a mentally unstable girl just because you want someone to sleep with and abandoning your pregnant girlfriend in the process? Yeah, I wasn't sorry when he got knifed. I actually kind of wish his death was a little more... satisfying, I guess? He starts dying and he had all these flashbacks to the nice parts of the show, specifically when he was falling for Seiki. And I was like : (((((
Also unlike a lot of other people, I never liked Kotohana. In later episodes I felt bad for her, but she's exactly the generic kind of love interest that bores me in harem animes, and it seems like that archetype is always the one the guy chooses. A girl like Seiki, who actually has a personality and wasn't the first one the main character had his focus on, is a much more compelling choice. IMO, ofc.
But yeah, I was pretty happy when he started hooking up with Seiki. If only he'd manned up and broken up with Kotohana sooner, everything would be fine. And I guess he'd have a kid. : P

The only anime I'm watching save from that shown in club is probably Star Driver *dies inside* It's not that great of an anime and honestly has the capability of doing more especially during the fight scenes but it's FABULOUS. There's just so much that I can poke and make fun of in this anime that it keeps me amused, alas the last episode airs this week. Good bye, Ginga Bishonen and your sparklyness. Adieu Peacock king and your pants that sparkle like the galaxy. No seriously, the final villain wears peacock feathers and sparkles and it's so horrific that it turns into fabulousness.
It's not a great anime, it really isn't but it's something that I can laugh with my friends about on a weekly basis. Considering that the other animes like Fractale and Level E will be ending as well, I'm a tad upset but I'm just waiting for Ao no Exocrist and [C] to air. Mostly [C] because even though I don't know much about it, the trailer featured the voice of the guy who voiced the medicine seller in Mononoke. No words can describe how happy I was when I heard that. Heck I'd know if he'd actually would be voicing a character but I'm interested. That and the anime kind of reminds me of "Money and Intelligence" from Bakuman. I can't wait to see it.

Ah yes, Star Driver. Weird little show. At first, I concluded there was no depth to it, but after realizing it was written by the guy who wrote Utena, I think there has to be some gigantic metaphor just going above my ahead. Still, sad to see everything ending all of a sudden. Index, as well.

I can't wait to see it. totally agree, when i saw the preview of C over the spring break, all i could think was, "yo, this is totally Money and Intelligence", with the digital landscape, the rain of money and really dark music and animation sequences, totally felt like they were trying to bring Money and Intelligence into the "real world" edit - After reading the plot synopsis to C, i'm disappointed that it's not Money and Intelligence brought to fruition, but it's interesting none the less. It sounds kind of like a cross between Togainu no Chi in regards to the world setting and potential action source, and Money and Intelligence with regards to the role money takes.

Just watched the latest episode of Yumekui Merry... FFFFFFFF, is there gonna be an episode 13? Or is it ending with 12? If it ends on that kind of a cliffhanger I'm gonna go nuts.
