So yeah, aside from the stuff we're watching in club, what new shows are you guys watching from this season?
There's really only one other anime I've been watching, "Onii-chan No Koto Nanka Zenzen Suki Janain Dakara Ne!!". Really, I only started watching it because waiting for the true route episodes for Ore no Imouto was driving me crazy, but it's a completely different anime. Whereas ore no imouto is all about the void between a brother and a sister, and how they eventually open up to one another, become real siblings, and grow to care about each other (as siblings, AS SIBLINGS!!!!! I swear I'll be heartbroken if the true route turns into incest #_#), onii-chan no koto is closer to b gata h kei... except with a brother and a sister instead of a beauty queen and a nerd.
At first I was like @_@, but it's actually really funny. Funny in that "oh my god, are they really gonna go there? yeah, they are" kind of way. Which, I know a lot of you can't get into because I've watched relatively small amounts of anime compared to everyone else. I remember I was talking about this with Mike one time, the subject of Angel Beats came up and while he thought it was decent, I was in love with it. Basically anything that's been done a thousand times is still new to me, haha.
So, I guess I can't really recommend this anime to anyone else, since you guys would probably watch it and be like "yeah I feel like I've already seen this". Still, I'm getting a laugh out of all the ridiculous crap happening in it, like the occasional bromance scenes or the fact that the class rep is blackmailing the main character into buying her doujinshi.
Anyway yeah, so what else are you guys watching right now? I definitely wanna get into another show because I'm all caught up on onii-chan no koto and there's nooo way I'm watching mahou shoujo by myself ._.

THIS season, nothing else really. I'm just watching Supernatural cause it's awesome (slightly sad about one dub VA choice though, otherwise it'd be as great as the live action).
I'm also finishing up Les Miserables: Shojou Cosette because, OMG, it's finally getting subbed completely. Raging at the ending cause they're making it too family-friendly.
People should only really watch Supernatural if they like Supernatural, and Les Mis if they like Les Mis. Actually, most people should watch les mis even if they haven't seen the musical/concerts/movies or read the book. It's quite good.
Also Claymore and Phantom - Requiem for Phantom cause it's on my backlog. Along with a dozen other anime.

(Slowly) working my way through Ergo Proxy, re-watching Azumanga Daioh because I love it so, checking out the first Mobile Suit Gundam series because I never watched it all the way through. Doing none of the above with any real measure of dedication-- life, after all, gets in the way. Though I might have to check out that Les Mis series, Zack, just for the hell of it-- I was Thenardier in my high school's production of the musical

Wow, there are animes for Les Mis and Supernatural? : D That's so cool! I'm definitely checking both of those out, although I might save the Les Mis anime for something to watch with my brother, since we saw the play together and fell in love with it.
I actually never finished Azumanga, haha. I'm like two episodes away from the end, and I was just so bummed about not having more Azumanga to look forward to that I never finished watching it. Which is honestly pretty stupid, I really should just finish it one of these days, but there's something really nice about knowing there's fresh episodes of Azumanga waiting for me.
Also, how are you liking Ergo Proxy? I just wiki'd it and it looked pretty interesting, but I always try not to know too much about the plot before going into a new anime (that's part of the fun of it : D). Is it something you'd recommend? Or are you just kind of watching it to fill in the gaps?

I'm with you on Azumanga-- the show has an odd ability to cause deep depression once you are nearing the end (which is why I continue to watch certain episodes/scenes over and over again, to convince myself that Azumanga is forever). I am thoroughly enjoying Ergo Proxy right now, I haven't made it very far in the series, but it is definitely quite interesting. Very introspective. Lots of blatant philosophical allusions which are at times overwrought, at times genuinely thought provoking. It has a lot of similarities with other dystopian narratives (particularly Blade Runner, at least in the beginning; and oddly, it's beginning to remind me of Half-Life 2), but enough originality to be worth the ride-- definitely up there with Ghost and the Shell in terms of thoughtfulness, I'd say. I'd absolutely recommend it.

Still watching Star Driver, Bakuman (up to date on the manga as well, probably my fav series out of my current-watches/reads), Onii-chan no koto for the lols, Infinite Stratos, and Fairy Tail for consistency
yeah, that's about it other than what we watch in club.
I occasionally go through series i've had in my backlog but to be honest i'd rather do the current stuff or else my backlog won't stop growing.

I was Thenardier in my high school's production of the musical Thenardier is a pretty cool guy. Eh is the best innkeeper around and doesn't afraid of anything. Wow, there are animes for Les Mis and Supernatural? : D That's so cool! I'm definitely checking both of those out, although I might save the Les Mis anime for something to watch with my brother, since we saw the play together and fell in love with it. Yea. The Supernatural dub is pretty good, Jared (Sam) does his own voice for the whole series, but Jensen (Dean) is only doing the last two episodes. His other VA is......ok. The dialog is not bad. And the episodes are nice takes on the live action episodes (but a little copy-pasta). Other than the last few episodes, the Les Miserables anime is the most faithful adaption of the novel.

A great site to keep track of what you're watching is myanimelist.net, I use it to keep track of what releases to check for since I tend to follow at least 10 series at a time; 10 series at a time actually has never happened, it's always more than 10 series.
Excluding our main lineup in club: Beelzebub (which got taken down from our lineup ;-;... c'mon episode 1 had the most naked baby, the rest of the episodes don't focus on it), Hetalia World Series which is ending soon, Wandering Son which I like watching on my own more than watching in club, Kimi ni Todoke S2, Starry Sky, and Tegami Bachi REVERSE which is ongoing from last season.
By the way, Requiem for the Phantom is totally awesome, and would've made my ultimate favorites list if not for troll.

A certain magical index II, Fairy Tail (time consumption generic shounen anime), recently watched all of the second season of haruhi, currently waiting on the final BDs of HSOD to come out so I can watch it as well as the final BD of Bakemonogatari.
I need to watch Drrr, and see if the new mahou sensei negima ovas are out yet. Still got sekirei and its sequel kinda rotting and i need to get around to arakawa under the bridge x bridge. I need to re continue ghost hunt and am still waiting for the 4th OVA of Black Lagoon.
Eck... Spring break will probably clear all of this in one go.

And at any point where [amount of anime containing naked baby] > 0 is not acceptable.

Kinda watching Infinite Stratos when I have nothing else. Oh and the true route for ore no imouto came out a few days ago. mazui subbed it. I knew what was gonna happen but I was still like

Oh and the true route for ore no imouto came out a few days ago. mazui subbed it. I knew what was gonna happen but I was still like The entire thing? Or just the first episode. I watched the first episode of the true route and was really sad when Kirino left, especially because in the good ending it was adorable that her brother was the one person she was willing to stay in Japan for... knowing that ending isn't actually cannon is kind of a bummer, although I do feel like her deciding to go to America, despite her newfound respect for her brother, was a lot more realistic and shows that Kyousuke's had a good impact on her life as a whole.
But Ruri going to school with Kyousuke is aweeeesome. As the show went on, I started to feel pretty bad for her. It seems like she's the oldest child in her house, and whenever she saw Kyousuke sticking his neck out for Kirino, she always seemed jealous. There's that moment on the train where Kyousuke explains why he goes so far for Kirino, and Ruri's response is just "must be nice." : ( So I think it goes without saying that she's got a MASSIVE crush on him, and she's not the typical uber-shy girl who can't confess her feelings, so I'm expecting good things to happen between them.
Kind of sucks for the meganekko, but whaaatever, I think Kyousuke had already laid her down pretty gently in that one episode where she asks what he'd do if someone confessed to him, and he said he'd turn them down 'because I want things to stay the way they are'. She seemed to accept it pretty well too, which could suggest that she didn't understand what he was doing, but ehh honestly who cares. So if I'm all caught up, that means there's only been one episode of the true route ending that was released, and we're still waiting for 3 more? Hopefully it's a segue into a season 2.

Yeah, from what I heard it's four episodes total. ;D The release schedule for them is gonna be agonizing, though.
