I think for something like this, we need to have a "NOT Punie Chan" option to completely understand the hatred we feel for this anime.
*votes for everything else*

I voted for everything this time! Why? Because I A) (shockingly) enjoyed Kore wa Zombie desuka this time around and B) am morbidly fascinated by Punie Chan (though I was saddened by the death of the potato, however honorable his curry-seppuku may have been). Sadly, I may not make it to the next gathering, so hopefully I'll have the time to get my hands on everything we watch so I can be up to date! PS. Very nice meeting you all at restaurant night, I had a nice time and it was lovely chatting

I voted for everything except Punie-Chan. >_O If I wanted bad story, bad animation, needless panty shots, and a large dose of intentional what-the-fuckery, I'll either watch Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo or or watch Powerpuff Girl Z while smacking my head against the wall... also known as watching Powerpuff Girl Z. >_>

Level E will not be advancing the main plot anymore, it was just a frame narrative to tell one-shot horror stories. I am okay with this.

I am disappoint that people generally do not like the semi-old things I've shown. Oh well~

Dai Mahou Touge is hands-down the best show shown this meeting, no question about it. Those who didn't appreciate it lack a sense of humor.

Aw shucks. I return the sentiment. For the record, I've enjoyed nearly all of the classics you've played so far-- though I have a mighty hankering for some Gundam

I loved punie-chan... I feel like maybe that's an unpopular sentiment, though. The lineup's been getting pretty solid otherwise. Loving every classic as well ^.

I'm utterly surprised how Level E is getting more votes than Madoka. Different tastes i guess.

Madoka is quickly becoming my second favorite after Fractale. Level E is good for the comedy but it doesn't have much plot. I'm a bigger fan of the plot oriented shows.

Yeah, Madoka is something else. It's pretty impressive when an anime can at once excite and horrify me - when I saw Sayaka jump out of nowhere to save Madoka, my initial reaction was "$#@% YEAH!!!!" I then felt a huge wave of trepidation as I realized that she'd basically damned herself to a horrible fate, all for the sake of that boy who honestly seems like kind of a weirdo himself. I watched Higurashi which is the same kind of genre-ravaging thing, but honestly Madoka's bothering me more. Maybe it's because for a while there I honestly thought we were watching a normal magical girl anime in club and was just kind of enjoying the cute character designs and their simplistic ideas about life, so I really bought into the characters and began to like them. With Higurashi, I knew from the beginning that things were gonna get weird, so I kind of mentally distanced myself from the characters, and as they slaughtered each other I was going like " " moreso than "Q_Q". I still really miss Mami. : ( Tiro Finale! was so cuuute. And I've talked way too much about this show now, lolol. Needless to say I voted for it, but I don't think I'm gonna watch any more episodes unless it's with you guys. I watched episode 4 with my brother and we were just kind of disturbed the entire time - after it was over, I asked him if he was up for watching episode 5 and he just looked at me blankly and goes "not right now. ". At least in club you'd have color commentary in the background to help lighten the mood during things like that "punishment" scene where Madoka's getting stretched apart by those toy monkey things. I dunno, maybe it's just me - is anyone else fascinated by this anime but also really bothered by it? (That said I loooove it and can't wait for next weeks : DDDD)
