Ok, it's back: Restaurant Night Spring 2011!For our new members who don't know what this is; every semester we have an outing where we all go to an Asian cuisine restaurant and have an awesome night of delicious food with cool people. DISCLAIMER: We do not pay for you guys, so you'll have to bring your own money (cash plz). You'll need $10-15 at least. We've usually gone to Go on on St. Marks because it's close, relatively cheap, and quite good. But if anyone has other recommendations, feel free to post here, preferably with a link to the site/menu (no super-expensive places, most of us are poor/cheap).We're going to Sharaku since go doesn't take reservations on Fridays and we dont want to have to look for a different place at the last minute It'll be at night, probably starting at 6-7PM. We usually do something fun afterwards (mafia, watch videos, etc). Go ahead and vote for any dates you can make it. We'll pick the date that most people can. We'll also announce it on Facebook and email and all those other things you young kids are into. ~Hope to see you all there~  |

Sounds awesome. =) If it's during the first week of March though, I may not be able to go, as my boyfriend's probably gonna visit that weekend.
"Wait," you may ask, "why not bring him along?" Because he had a horrific experience with Chinese food that has made him swear off all Eastern style cuisine and the mere smell of a dumpling or soy sauce will turn him green and woozy. =D

This sounds like great fun. As a newbie to the club I will most certainly attempt to make it, whenever it may be. I suggest that rather than a sit-down place we all rush Otafuku en masse and eat Okonomiyaki on the sidewalk in the freezing cold. That's not a real suggestion, but the image is pleasing.

I'm guessing that Restaurant Night for this week is a no-go? If so, I can make it to next week, since plans with my boyfriend went screwy and I'm now visiting him this weekend. >_> Really, I'm organized and not off-the-wall chaotic at all.
