Hello all. I bet most of you don't remember me. I was the president of NYU Club Anime in 2008-09. I haven't been in attendance since, but you were all in my thoughts. I have been keeping track of announcements and such, and I have to say, I am proud of you all. But that's not why I am here. I have been reading an manga called "The World God Only Knows" since it began in 2007. I'm sure some of you know that its anime adaptation started airing this season. Somehow, it has become a beloved series on /a/, and, in that spirit, I began revisiting the old chapters. Here's the deal: There is a ton of untranslated "omake" material, because the scanlators were working with magazine releases. I took it upon myself to translate them (somewhat roughly). I have been looking for people to proofread, and I have only found one other person. I have a typesetter already, so what I really need is some other people with Japanese knowledge who can proofread my rough translations.I know that there were some fairly knowledgeable people in attendance when I was president, and in the hopes that this still holds true, I have uploaded the material here: www.mediafire.com/?59qzrbflxmzua5iPleas have a look, and let me know if you can help! My email is vedasisme(at)gmail(dot)com Thanks in advance. And if you haven't seen or heard of this series, it has my strongest recommendation!

Hey Jon, long time no see.
We have started showing this at club and has become part of our weekly lineup. Most people seem to enjoy it. Hopefully some of our Japanese-savy members will be able to help.
Jon's a pretty cool guy. Eh was president of Club Anime and doesn't afraid of anything.
Hope life's treating you well, and feel free to stop by whenever you'd like.

I know there are knowledgable people in our club who can help, but many of them are busy folks. I would offer my assistance, but my knowledge of the japanese language was so little that after a few weeks with ryuumaru as an editor/qc I quit in exasperation. I'll put out the request for help in club, as not everyone uses the forums, but I can't promise anything.

It's been a while since my original call, but after speaking with the folks down at RedHawkScans, they've started released the omake content using their own proofing teams. I don't necessarily need any help with this particular project any longer, but I'll definitely keep turning up to let you guys know what's up with certain obscure manga!
