I am so loaded with work this week that I feel like my lifespan has been shortened by half. Which is why I'm going to confirm that I am coming I really need a break from endless essays and massive lines of code.

Luis mentioned it briefly at the end of club, but I think it should be mentioned again here just in case.
5:30pm Kimmel 1st floor marble staircase
Oh yeah, since angeli asked me to, I might go tomorrow. I'll see. I get off work at 6pm so I might just meet you there. That's if I decide to go, instead of killing myself on my futile attempts at compsci.

Yep. Exactly what Jeffrey mentioned above. If people know how to get there or prefer to go there directly from wherever they may be, feel free to do so. But the general mass would be meeting on the 1st flor of Kimmel by 5:30pm. Remember, someone HAS TO BE there by 6pm. If they ask, tell them that "Luis" reserved a room for possibly 10 people. They shouldn't have a problem with that. Now, in case people are wondering, the price to sing is as follows: - $5 plus tax per person per hour (in order words, since we are staying for two hours, we pay close to 11 dollars, including tax).
Since we will be staying for only two hours, don't consider getting the marathon since it is $14 plus tax on weekends. Next, in case people want to see what songs are available, here is the link to the songlist here. For the restaurant portion of the night, we will improvise and look for a place. Any suggestions are welcomed. Finally, if some one can bring a camera, it will be gratefully appreciated. We will take photos and record moments of the 2009-2010 Club Anime group doing what they do best: sing and have a great time. I'll be getting to the place late so Chad will be the guy waiting for everyone in Kimmel. Play nice everyone. Lata!

Alright guys and girls. I want to say this has been a truly successful Karaoke/Restaurant Doubleheader Night (or, if you hate my baseball terminology, I'll say "double event" then). Although I wasn't there for the Karaoke portion, the hunt for a restaurant was epic on itself. In case people have no clue what we ended up doing, I will just mention these two words: "Double Down." Some of the participants were knocked out completely at KFC trying to consume this behemoth, thus ending their night of adventures. Others ended up going to a cheap but great Korean restaurant on 32nd street between Broadway and 5th avenue (thanks Nick for the recommendation).
But yes, the point is I want to personally thank everyone who was able to participate in the doubleheader/event (I'm sorry for the baseball reference again). If it wasn't for you, the people, we would definitely not have enough fun like we did today. I am sure that my hopes of continuing this trend of Karaoke and Restaurant Nights will continue with the new E-Board group. I will definitely be around to assist in planning for future events.
Photos and videos of today's events will come soon (thank you Angeli for the camera). Everyone, have a great night, stay safe, and keep on building that community that we know and love as the "NYU Club Anime."
Peaaceeeee!

Yeahhhh.... I still don't understand how this sandwich is out there in the market. I mentioned this earlier during tonight's event but boy, will I see many dead people in KFC as long as that sandwich is available. Poor poor obese kids... *shakes head in shame*

Dude, just watching people eat that sandwich made my arteries cry out in pain.
Still, it was mad fun. I'm gonna go back to Ktown one of these days, those restaurants looked awesome.

I went to Brooklyn Matsuri last year. The garden is so nice to walk through. The only downer though is they have bentos that are pretty expensive... and a bunch of hot dogs. That's it. I recommend bringing a lunch. The shows they have are nice too, but you kind of have to fight for a seat and stay there for a while, because everyone seems to mush in a giant crowd an stay there. There were two new celebrities from Japan there last year. Forgot the names. One girl was really sweet.
Anyways, if anyone decides to go, try to go on Saturday, there's a bit more stuff. : )

Does anyone else want to go to Sakura Matsuri on Saturday? I know everyone is "busy" studying for finals but this is the last weekend that we all will be NYU; let's have one last outing. The weather looks okay for the weekend but they'll have events indoors if it rains or something. If no one else is interested, I'll have to find some outside company.
