It's that time again...
Most of you are freshmen so let me spoil it again: you're not going to get any of the courses you want and you're totally dicked on registration time. Bahahaha
I'm signed up for a crappy senior ethics class for Stern and continuing onto Beginner Spanish II, where hopefully I will learn more fun phrases. I'm currently still trying to figure out how to fill ~ten elective credits, and I have absolutely no idea what to do it with. Hopefully I'm tipped about something cool in the coming days.
How bout you guys?

Yeaahhh, I feel sorry for the freshie. It was good times when we had to go through that phase. Man, has it been THAT long!?
As for me, I'll be taking Vector Analysis (think Calculus with lots of proof and vectors), Engineering Design Lab 4 (we ACTUALLY build circuits and motherboards... i LOVE engineering because of this class), and Engineering Physics 3 (My second love... Physics 3, how we shall be together for the Spring semester). I'm still deciding if I want to take a fourth class but so far, I have been registered for these three classes (good to be a senior).

Thank you Chad, for spoiling my mood. I was so excited about my classes next semester I'm going for Calc III, Chinese I, Intro to Comp Sci, and Writing the Essay: Science. It sucks since the schedule I painstakingly created only works if I get into the exact sections I want. Chances of that happening : slim. Hearing about it from you seniors: time to join the Bobst diving team.

Too soon Chang I'm not too worried about my classes since they're all required anyway D: Elementary Japanese II, WTE, Expressive Cultures: Sounds, Conwest 19th century antiquity or whatever.

8U From what I gathered, conwest sucks.
I'm banking on the fact that all my favorite professors only have early classes and that I hope that no one likes getting up early still :< :<

Principles of Managerial Accounting Foundations of Financial Markets Info Tech in Business & Society Management & Organizational Analysis Computer Systems Organization
(If you didn't already know, could you guess what school I'm in???)
My schedule is similar to this semester's; all my classes are on Tuesday/Thursday. However one class (MA) is on Monday but only for the first half of the semester.
8AM classes FTW! [/sarcasm]

Hmm I always register like three months late and get all my classes. Probably because no one takes my classes, or they have 900 people. LOL!

What determines how early you get to sign up for classes? I got an okay schedule but it could've been much better if I got some classes before they were horded T_T

Your registration time is based on how many credits you have.
For the most part it's Seniors>Juniors>Sophomores>Freshmen. However it can change based on AP credits, transfer credits, and if you've taken relatively few/many classes.
I transfered 10 AP credits and take 16-18 credits a semester. As a result, I now end up registering before the bulk of Sophmores (I registered Wednesday morning).
If you don't need to worry about credit limits (I.e. You're just doing one major), just transfer over as many AP credits as you can. It can't hurt....

ENVY! I really wanted to get into Intro to Creative Writing! But of course, by the time I get there, there's only the 8 am section open. No. Way. In. Hell. Not a morning person. SO here are all the fun/stressful class I'm taking next semester: Physics II Observational Astronomy (Hell yeah for not have a social life for a year in high school that allowed me to get into this without the prerequisites!) Writing the Essay World Cultures: Latin America
I refuse to take Calc III before next year, and I'll be done with all my requirements (except expressive cultures...blah) I transfered 8 AP credits and placed out of Quantitative Reasoning so I managed to register ahead of quite a few freshmen.

Hey sapphi, which Chem are you taking. Is it with Goldberg (aka Chem 1) or Halpin (Chem 2)?
@sara - Why do you refuse Calc 3. It is soo much fun, unlike Calc 2 and its series and sequence. Hehe.

@luis - Cause math after Pre-Calc is evilllll....I don't care that most of it is part of physics, it's still evil! Also, I don't even want to look at integrating functions with multiple variables.

Ahhh yess. Integrating functions with multiple variables. You don't know how much joy I take in doing a problem such as that one... integration with multiple variables... AWESOME!!

Only you found find that amusing...those are the kinds of math problems that keep me UP at night...*shudder* Give me Fitzgerald! GIVE ME MARX! EVEN GIVE ME STEPHANIE MEYER! I would prefer those tortures over....calculus....at least once you stop reading them, the memory of the awfulness can fade away. Calculus is everywhere; there is no escape.
