(You know this was coming Jeffrey.) Well, now that I finally have my hands on it, I have to wonder "Was it worth the $60 dollar price tag?" Well, I hope so. This game is going to destroy my life. But to quote South Park: "How can you kill that which has no life?" Just something else to note. The last time you physically bought a PC game, was it in a box or a "case"? I noticed that MW2 came in a case similar to PS2 games and I started wondering if it was because of the recession and all that economic failure stuff. To add to that, the instruction booklet had 4 pages of instruction and 4 pages of licensing/copyright/etc. I was expecting something pretty hefty that I could indulge myself in during class before I got home

Who here lives on campus and will let me go to their place to play MW. I'm only interested in playing the campaign so it shouldn't take too long to beat.
Oh Kevin, about the slimmed cases. I think it's been that way for awhile. I can't say for sure since it's been forever since I bought a pc game, but when I look at them at the store wishing I could run it on my laptop, I think I noticed they were slim.

I buy my games through online services, like steam or direct2drive. Haven't bought a solid copy of a game in years. One exception was Kotor 2, but that's because it wasn't available anywhere online.
However, I get the feeling COD4-2 will be just like COD4. which was basically what World at war was like. COD4 was a great game, everything spawned after it is almost identical to COD4... and I challenge anyone to prove otherwise. I'll even play the game, and point out how much like COD4 it is.
However, of course, the talking heads are going to LOVE IT... because they're paid to love it. I'm sure it's a good game. It's just COD4. With a new campaign and some new multiplayer perks.

Nothing wrong with it... just acknowledging what's what. Like acknowledging a trap on 4chan... you know what it is, and there's nothing wrong with it, but you should probably still point it out.
For the record, I'm buying l4d2 eventually... even though it's basically the same game as the first one with more maps and different characters.
