Woah...I'll definitely have to check this one out. You did say the magic word, after all (FLCL).

That bear is really creeping me out. I'll add this to my "to watch" list. Hopefully I'll finish all my other anime by the time this series finishes >_>

This is the creation of some ghibli staff, and clearly shows some innovation. I haven't seen any yet, but it looks pretty cool...

While that bear just may be the creepiest bear I've seen, I can't help but stare and LOL at the guy coming out of the time-warp door. HAHAHAHAHAHAAHA WOW.

Jeffrey, what do you say about this? Do you want to check it out at a future meeting?

Jeffrey, what do you say about this? Do you want to check it out at a future meeting? Sure, if there's time. The thing is, our current lineup already takes up most of the time. So I can probably squeeze in 1 or 2 new shows each week at best. The other option is to show mostly new shows and drop the current lineup but I think people like the shows were currently showing. I already have a few new shows queued up but I can add this to the list as well.

So I just finished watching this a few days ago despite having a huge wtf look on my face after the first episode. I almost didn't continue watching it because I found the art style so trippy and because it didn't seem to have a story.
Then I watched the second episode which was about a guy and his penis and thought "man, this show GETS it," I couldn't stop watching from then on.
Despite the series not really having a coherent plot, it's really interesting. Basically that bear is a psychologist (psychiatrist?) and each episode is about a different patient suffering from a mental disorder. What I like about it is that there's so much hidden symbolism in each episode that once you understand, makes you go "ohhhhhhhhhh, I get why it's like that now."
And god damn, the nurse is hot.

I see a series that will have to be shown to the club soon. Make it happen Jeffrey.

Ah, I agree with kevin. I saw a little bit right when it first came out, and was put off slightly purely by the style, but it only gets better and some of the characters are really, really out there. Sometimes it's good to be reminded that anime is an art form on top of moeblob and tsunderes. And big robots. Except I believe big robots is an art form, so... yeah
