Restaurant Outing Success!

First of all I want to thank Chad for everything tonight, including paying for 'beverages' and inviting us all to his place for the evening.

I think tonight was cool and, since I did not go to Anime Fest, meetin up with everyone outside of club was awesome.

For those of you who didn't come (shame on you), pictures were taken and pictures will be posted here. Hopefully you guys can come to our next event which I believe is a Karaoke night at the end of November when we also don't have a meeting.

Also, as I side note, I would like to remind everyone that while I doubt anyone official at NYU reads these forums, they are linked to the website which is hosted on their servers. I highly suggest not posting anything that could incriminate you later.

Overall, I want to thank everyone for being able to join us for this great event/dinner. It was a huge success. People who didn't make it today (or yesterday in case you read this on Saturday), I hope you'll be able to join us in our next meeting (details to come). I also want to thank Chad for helping me go restaurant hunting on Thursday after the failed plan with Ninja to look for the best restaurant for 14 people. I think we did good Chad. Our efforts paid off. Finally, I want to thank Zack for taking a risk and trying out Japanese food for the first time. You deserve it. Overall, thank you all!

Now, as far as details concerning Karaoke Night (as Zack mentioned earlier), we are planning on holding it most likely on the week of November 19th. Based on tonight's turnout, most likely it will happen on either a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. We are planning on heading to Karaoke Duet 35, located on 35th street between 6th and 5th avenues. Again, more details will come your way as the week of November 19th approaches.

I just got back from when the latest brahs left Chad's, and let's just say we had some serious fun playing Layton and the Mysterious Village, solving some hardcore puzzles. We figured out that I'm smart and dumb at the same time (TWO TRIANGLES IS DEF A FIVE SIDED FIGURE LOL) and that the fat kid is not actually responsible for eating the sausages. Stuff.

Great success, I suggest we do this all the time, maybe at less or more expensive places (I really just meant equally or less expensive by that), cause that was fun.

I got my delicious balls so I'm satisfied. I think the event was a great success. Especially compared to our earlier events. We had a great turnout. I hope everyone that had dinner with us, will join us again for karaoke night. And I also hope some of our other members that couldn't make it, can join us.

Since I didn't get any good pictures of the balls I ate, here's a picture I stole from the internet. They were seriously the best thing I ate yesterday. I'm probably gonna go back on sunday to pick up some more.

Man, these are the times in which I wish I was a resident/dormer/non-commuter. That way, I could have more time to enjoy the fun going on. We shall make more events similar to this but in different settings (karaoke is one setting, ice skating if people want it is another, etc etc, more to come). We are a New NYU Club Anime indeed.

But yeah I appreciate everyone coming out to have a good time. Too many lulz to just mention one thing or another. A huge turnout and hopefully some new experiences for everyone. If/when I get out of today's lazy funk we'll draw up some more fun events. Again I hope you enjoyed it and you'll tell all your friends about what they missed and rub it in their faces.
